So everyone knows keeping a room, let alone a house clean with a toddler is virtually impossible. I have been trying everything to try to organize the toys. Riley has so many toys that we are so running out of space. We use most of my thirty one inventory to hold toys but we also use ikea products and any storage tub we find. What are your storage ideas??
With Riley being two we have decided she will start helping with some chores. She puts away her toys with me. She sweeps with her mini broom, and she feeds the dogs there breakfast and dinner. She lives to help. Im thinking of making a chore chart but i dont think she would understand it yet. Life is always eventfull with the crazyness but when you get the chance to watch how fast they pick everything up and learn, it is truly amazing. But sometimes frusterating. As I sit in my daughters room and wait for her to fall asleep fighting me the whole time, I try to remember she is only 2. She is just now starting tongo to bed alone in her own bed and it times me easier not to be so frusterated when she askes tongo potty 8 times, or for every stuffed animal in her box. and even when she gets out of bed every 5 minutes and standa infront of me till I lay her back down. I remember she kissed my booboos today and made me play breakfast at her table. She saw her cousin and ran across the house to give him a hug. She remembered to share her toys and his cup. And she didnt want him to sit in timeout alone so she did what he did so she would have to go with him.
So the house gets dirty, so i get frusterated with bedtimes and tempertantrums. Im raising a thoughtful, sweet and just a little bit sassy little girl. I am raising a smart, helpful, loud little girl. Who loves with everything she has. Who teaches me new things everyday. So i will take my dirty house that i only get to clean every other day(maybe). I would rather play.
